The Chameleon is based on an original story by David Joseph Keller. After a freak lab accident transforms him into a human chameleon, Chang Po, a brilliant young scientist, uses his newfound abilities to save the world from a mysterious fatal disease. Chang Po and his wife, Alice Chang, are both young doctors working at the Hainan Islands Infectious Disease Research Institute run by Po's best friend, Josh Naylor when all three become embroiled in a battle for survival of the human race.
